Morton Info/Skitters Situation

So, a few days ago, I went out after class in search of Morton, since I have not heard from my little buddy for a while. It took me about an hour, but I finally found him and...

He is not doing so well...

He's been incredibly lonely ever since Gertrude and I have focused all our attention on Morton jr. So, he kind of secluded himself from the creatures of Nool and hasn't been eating regularly. He looked really sick. It really scared me so much to see him this way. He could barely walk, and it was all because I didn't hang out with him as much...I feel so horrible...Morton, I'm so sorry...*small cry*

He's currently staying with us, and we're trying our best to get him back to being his old, sarcastic self. I hope he gets better soon...I miss ya old buddy...:(

In other news, the Skitters situation has gone a bit awry yesterday. Kangaroo got extremely upset, up to the point where she was considering to take Rudy out of my class. Please don't take him out  because of Skitters! Your little joey is doing such a wonderful job in my class...he currently has the highest grades in class, and he has learned so much. Plus, I know he wouldn't want to be pouch-schooled again, especially now that he's made so many friends. Please don't take him out...he has such a bright future...

I do hope the Skitters situation doesn't go to crazy. Skitters, I know you're not a bad cat, but please don't get into too much trouble. For yours and Nool's sake.

So much is going on...oh dear...

-Horton

Oh... my.

The poor dear! I-I'm so terribly sorry about this Horton. I d-didn't mean for our relationship and Morton Jr. to cause this to happen. If there is any way I can help you and Morton, then I'll be willing to do anything I can.

I... *cringes in guilt* Oh dear Nool above, I'm so sorry Horton.

No, no, no...It's not your fault Gertrude, Not at all... Don't think that. *kiss*

Its mine, I should have known earlier that something was wrong with Morton, or known that he went missing...I'm a horrible friend. I wasn't faithful to him 100%...:(

I feel so horrible...and he's not doing so well. I hope it's ok hat he stays with us until he gets better. I really need to keep an eye on the little fella.

Oh of course Horton, he can stay with us for as long as he has to. That's perfectly fine with me.

And Horton... you really shouldn't beat yourself up over this. You're still an elephant faithful 100% to me. *tries to make a conforting smile* Just give Morton a little time. Some food and rest should get him back to normal health, and then try and talk to him. If anything, I bet he's been missing talking with his best friend for a while now.

Aw...poor Morton...
Could you tell him I missed him too? I mean, I noticed he wasn't around but I didn't know it was because he was all sad. Bummer.

And Skitters...well, he was kinda cool, but if it's a choice between having Skitters around or having Rudy around...Tommy and Angela and me are gonna have to choose Rudy...
I'm sure Katie would too, if I could ever figure out what she was talking about half the time.

Hope you feel better Horton. Bein' sad is no fun. D:

Sure Jessica, I'm sure he'd like to know people were worried about him.

I'm sure he'll stay, but I'll still talk to Miss Kangaroo anyway.

Skitters has appeared to have gone missing, so until we find him, I don't think he'll be visiting anyone at all for a while. :(

Thanks Jessica. That means a lot. :D

So Morton isn't doing well...I'm actually sorry to hear that. Hum. Well, I went over everything in my latest journal, so all that about Rudy and the class and my (slowly) dying urge to strangle Skitters with his own tail is in that.

Right now I want to cover this thing about the mouse. Feel free to tell me anytime if I could be of any help. Or perhaps tell him that I hope he feels better soon? Perhaps best wishes from yours truly may spook Morton into some sarcastic little quip.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear that Kangaroo!

I'll tell him you said that, though I'm sure he'd be greatful to get a few visitors to come talk to him. It might boost his energy and he might start acting all snarky again...he always feels the need to use sarcasm around others, so a group of Noolians coming to visit should help in that.

You should get some rest. If you DO decide to take leave, Gertrude and I would be more than happy to babysit Rudy for you. Anything to help a friend. :)

Well then, Rudy and I will drop by to pay a visit.

After that, and maybe after this Skitters thing is sorted out- I told that porcupine friend of his I'd somewhat help- I'll take that break. I appreciate the offer of babysitting Rudy- I'm sure he'd love it.

Sounds good to me!

You definitely should. You can drop Rudy off anytime you're ready.

Oh...nothing you need to worry about Katie. Everything is all sorted out. We were just dealing with the Skitter issue and the issue of Rudy being taken out f school, but all is fine. Rudy is staying.:D See you tomorrow at school!

Gosh... I-I’m sorry about Morton. He looked so depressed when my mom and I came to visit. *frowns* It was really weird seeing him that way...

Er... I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to sound mean... I-I- I just... aw man. >_<;;;

I hope he feels better soon. :(

Gertrude’s right, Horton. I-It’s not your fault. You’re a good friend... so don’t get mad at yourself... please?
